From their iPad digital menu, guests can also peruse the historic guest book, whose entries and inscriptions date back to 1936 and, according to travel+wine.com, include comments from such notables as Grace Kelly (the beloved American actress who became Princess Grace upon her marriage to Prince Rainier III of Monaco in April 1956) and Communist dictator Fidel Castro, the former President of Cuba, or view the exclusive collection of fine, rare cigars (not surprisingly, predominately from Cuba) available in Bellevue Palace’s celebrated smoking lounge, Le Fumoir, which was officially inaugurated on May 31, 2010.
Once they have made their selection, the iPad digital menu lets guests at Restaurant La Terrasse watch live as chef de cuisine Gregor Zimmermann and his kitchen team prepare their meal.
